The Process
The Consultation.
Every project starts with a consultation where we sit down to learn about you and the ideas you have for your future home. This is a working design appointment that allows you to ask questions and share your folder of magazine cut outs, Pinterest files, or the brass sink you found years ago at the flea market that inspires you. This meeting uses your inspirations to helps us develop the scope of our project together.
The Proposal.
After the consultation, we will create a design proposal which establishes a clear project scope, budget, and timeline. If this proposal aligns with your expectations, we will ask for a retainer to initiate the design process.
The Site Visit.
Once we have a signed contract, we will set up a site visit. For new construction, we will meet at your lot, while for renovations or interior design work, this means a day in your home to take measurements and photos. This allows us to establish the details and parameters of the project and presents an opportunity for us to discuss what site amenities or memorable pieces you would like to be incorporated into the design.
The Design.
After we have an idea of the space we are working with, the design process can commence. During this phase we work hard to design all the details that go into making your dream space. We will meet a few times to review the design with you along the way and in the end we will have a full set of plans for contractors to make your customized space a reality.
The Execution.
We offer optional construction administrative services at an additional fee to assist you in selecting finishes and streamlining the project management of the construction phase.
