This house was originally built in 1883 for Ollie and Lina Johnson (yep, you read that right) and is listed on the national registry of historic places as a contributing factor to the local historic district. The interior had been redone many times over the years and the project was to restore some of its original farmhouse charm while updating it to the needs of the modern-day owner. We removed six layers of flooring to find the original hardwood floors, moved the orientation of the stairs to enlarge the kitchen, vaulted the upper level and added a bathroom.
